Preserve Us (2022)

It is always dark down here. No light ever reaches. All the creatures have accepted the dark, the pressure. Like the ships hoisting their sails at Poseidon. To remove them now would be to ruin them.

I wish we could preserve everything under water.

Take the gold, gems, riches. Make the most expensive volcanic lava known to man. Leave it hardened there for the future to see. We need none of it.

I wish I could write out every language we know. Fill the concaved wood to the brim. And let the ocean claim our will.
